A technician sitting in the control
room operates most of the technology for the instructor. This
allows the instructor to focus on teaching. The heart of the
equipment is a Globecaster (formerly Trinity) system. This
integrated package provides a broadcast-quality video switcher,
audio mixer, special effects, non-linear editing, character
generator, animation, and still store.
The control room can also be used for
the broadcast-quality TV studio that's also in the building.
The studio has three cameras and computer-controlled lighting. |
