The technician uses the keyboard and mouse to control the various functions of the Globecaster, such as switching video sources, calling up visuals, and adjusting the audio.  There's also a Parkervision Shot Director (black console) that controls the rear instructor cameras.  To communicate with the instructor the technician has an intercom.
